Anna Spreckley shares why she resonates so much with the story of the woman at the well (John 4) and how Jesus still crosses every boundary today to reach us. After the woman’s encounter with Jesus, the woman left her water jar that she was carrying - the very thing that had brought her to the well in the first place. For Anna, the jar she was carrying was a relentless need for approval and Jesus met her in that place. Anna presents the thought that perhaps we all carry a jar - and that we can find love and acceptance from Jesus no matter what situation we find ourselves in.
