Give today and join donors from all over the world who are helping keep faith alive.

We all know someone who has left their faith behind or is close to it. Recent studies show that 60% of believers are on their way to letting Jesus go, and our own surveys reveal that over half of that group are at a higher risk than we realise.

In our distractions, doubts and pain, it can be easy for faith to fade into the background or disappear entirely. We started Streams Studio to reignite the hearts of people who find themselves in those places.

We don’t want to see any more people walk away from Jesus. Give today and together we can help keep faith alive.

WHY DOES STREAMS STUDIO EXIST?

We exist for your friends and family who have walked away from faith.

40 was the number of names that David, the founder of Streams Studio, wrote down on his phone of people he knew who had once had a relationship with God but had since walked away.

This list became his prayer list and marked the start of what would eventually become Streams Studio in August 2022.

It didn't take long for him to realise that many others had their own lists of people who had left their faith behind.

Consider for a moment: Who is on your list?

We exist for your list.

Research indicates that 40 million people are set to walk away from Jesus by 2050 in the US alone.*

This means that every 24 hours, the equivalent of a large church (1,200 people) leaves faith behind.

We have discovered four core reasons why:

Distress

Faith feels incompatible with their suffering and doubt.

Disconnection

Faith feels incompatible with their suffering and doubt.

Disillusionment

Faith feels incompatible with their suffering and doubt.

Distraction

Faith feels incompatible with their suffering and doubt.

Our conversations at Streams Studio are meant to speak directly to these pain points.

*The Great Opportunity, 2020

Almost 40% of our audience have reengaged with their faith because of our conversations.

We are often asked “Can posting videos on social media actually do that much?”

The short answer: yes.

We are seeing hundreds of thousands of people realize that their distress, disconnection and disillusionment does not mean they need to leave Jesus behind.

So would you join us in serving your friends and family who have walked away, and the millions they represent?

*Streams Studio Survey, 2024

Together, we can help keep faith alive for millions of people…
one person at a time.

Wow... I have walked away from the church and tried to go back but only get triggered. This was healing. Thank you.

Maria

I never thought Instagram could be a source of rest or respite, but sometimes when I am struggling to connect to God through my devotional time, watching Stream's videos really helps me to love God and worship in a fresh way.

Kira

What you do at Streams is amazing. On really difficult days I have found comfort scrolling through the videos, thank you so much.

Ayobami

I stopped going to church because I was exhausted by the hype and being shouted at from the front... but this is something I can listen to and hear God in.

Daniel

Not gonna lie, I think Streams Studio might be one of the primary factors of why I still want to follow Jesus.

Toby

Exactly the testimony I needed to hear in my own moment of desperation and waiting on God. Thank you.

Leslie

I mean seriously you guys are the best account on the internet. Every clip is inviting, refreshing, soothing, and makes me get off Instagram and go be present in my life.

It was 3am. I reached for my phone and began scrolling. The first video I came across was from Streams, and as I watched, I could almost hear God saying ‘if you reach out again, I will be with you.’ That night, after many years of silence between us, I returned back to God.

What do you mean by at-risk believer?

An at-risk believer is someone on a trajectory towards leaving their faith behind if someone or something does not intervene. This person is coasting, drifting, doubting or suffering, and the beauty of life with Jesus is fading. Our survey identified at-risk believers as someone who resonates with one or more of the following statements:

“I am struggling or declining in my faith.”

“I would describe myself as coasting, suffering, distancing, or disconnected in my faith.”

“I sometimes, frequently or already have considered leaving my faith.”

“I occasionally or rarely attend church.”

What studies are you referencing?

We are drawing data on the Western Church’s engagement with faith through Barna Group’s Faith for Exiles (2019) and Pinetops Foundation’s Great Opportunity Study (2020). Furthermore, in August 2024 we surveyed 936 people who follow Streams Studio with the goal of identifying our audience’s current state of faith and the impact our platform has had on their relationship to Jesus and their faith community.
