After growing up with a step-dad who attributed value purely from his most recent sporting performance, John Bostock describes the journey he’s been on and how he’s found his identity from God to be received rather than earned. John asks if we’re living for our own name and our own glory or is there something greater that we’ve found to live for.

John Bostock is a courageous leader both on and off the football field. After making his debut for Crystal Palace aged 15, John was approached by many of the top European Clubs. He went on to play in several of the top leagues in Europe and then set up Ballers In God 10 years ago to create a compelling environment where professional footballers could explore faith together. John lives in England with his wife Sia and their son.
