My Problem with the Easter Story
Sarah Williams

After reading through the gospel of Mark, Sarah was suprised by the ending. Instead of the conclusion she expected, it was a curious cliffhanger of 2 women running away from the empty tomb. Sarah shares her wrestle with the ending and what it means for us this Easter.

Dr Sarah Williams has a treasure trove of a mind, packed full of words, wisdom and historical insight. At Oxford she taught British and European political and cultural history and then moved with her family to Vancouver, Canada, where she taught the History of Christianity at Regent College. Sarah wrote The Shaming of the Strong, recently re-released as m Perfectly Human: Nine Months with Cerian, in which she reflects theologically on contemporary debates surrounding identity and personhood. Sarah’s new book ‘When Courage Calls: Josephine Butler and the Radical Pursuit of Justice for Women’, comes out later this year and can be pre-ordered now!
