Learning to be still
Sarah Williams

Have we lost our ability to be quiet? Sarah Williams explains how silence is imperitive. A quiet that is straining to listen. Giving God our 100% attention. That is worship.

Dr. Sarah Williams is a historian and author with expertise in British and European political and cultural history (1685-1939), which she taught at Oxford for 7 years. After moving to Vancouver in 2005, she taught the History of Christianity. She has published a historical novel and a spiritual autobiography, The Shaming of the Strong (2006), re-released as Perfectly Human (2018). Her new book, When Courage Calls: Josephine Butler and the Radical Pursuit of Justice for Women, is now available to buy through various websites including Amazon.
