When Amy Hughes arrived at university she felt lost in her own reflection and faith felt distant. It wasn’t until a simple, desperate prayer on the other side of the world that everything shifted. In encountering the presence of God, she discovered dignity, worth, and a love that didn’t need to be earned or chased. What followed wasn’t instant transformation, but a journey of walking in freedom and the gentle courage to “move on” in partnership with God.
Amy leads Trinity Church Nottingham alongside her husband, Jonny, and is an ordained priest in the Church of England. Alongside this, she has pioneered a national ministry to empower women called The Orchard with her sister Rachel. Amy is also a mother to four young children and is passionate about leading people into the transforming presence of Jesus, where freedom and new life are found.
