When Heidi was riding the wave of her highest highs, she found herself dismissing very real, human emotions as if they were out of place. But what if, in those moments, when we ask God what we can do for Him, He turns the question back on us?
Heidy Quah, a dedicated social rights advocate, founded Refuge for the Refugees at 18 to raise awareness about refugee challenges and provide essential support. RFTR now supports 35 refugee schools, two shelter homes, and a social enterprise school. Heidy was the first Malaysian woman to receive the Queen’s Young Leader Award, and in 2020, she was honored with the South East Asia Women of the Future Award for her ongoing work in human rights and social justice.
