Ale Siekmeier describes the moment at a rehab center, in the depths of despair, when she wanted to end her life. She talks of how Jesus came and met her in this midst of her devastation and revealed to her that He wasn’t mad with her. Like the Japanese artform of Kintsugi and referencing her life verses from Isaiah 61, Ale describes how Jesus has picked up the broken pieces of her heart, put them back together, with dignity and made them even more beautiful in the process.
Ale Siekmeier was born in Guatemala and now lives in New York City with her husband Ben. She is passionate about seeing people step into lives uninhibited by fear and defined by freedom. Ale is a life coach - specialising in relationships - and has created a boutique Christian matchmaking agency called The Nett.
