Masking my pain
Simon Thomas

What do we do with pain we don’t want to face? For many of us, the temptation is to numb it to reach for whatever promises relief, even if just for a moment. Simon Thomas shares how grief and loneliness led him into a cycle of drinking alcohol and ultimately shame and how God met him there, not with judgment, but with forgiveness and freedom.

Simon Thomas is a British television presenter, best known for his work on Sky Sports and Blue Peter. Simon serves as the President of Blood Cancer UK. He is married to Derrina and has three children. His book, titled “Love, Interrupted: Navigating Grief One Day at a Time”, chronicles his experience of navigating grief and finding hope and healing.
