Running towards someone else’s pain will often feel like a sacrifice, but when Shaila Visser went to help a neighbour, she didn’t expect it would be one of the most intimate moments of experiencing God in her life.

Shaila Visser has a heart for people coming to know Jesus and is passionate about helping the local church flourish. She is the National Director of Alpha Canada and the Global Senior Vice-President of Alpha. She is the Executive Producer of both The Alpha Youth Film Series (2013) and The Alpha Film Series (2016). Shaila lives in Vancouver, BC with her husband, Ryan.
