What happens when life doesn’t feel like the happiness we were promised? Chris explores 'the reality gap' - the space between expectation and lived experience. In that tension, he finds a reframe: suffering isn’t meaningless, but formative. And hope in God, isn’t fragile - it's steady, even when everything else shifts.
Chris is a Sydney-based pastor, author, and speaker. He is the Founding Director of Life to the Full - a place to cultivate holistic Christian flourishing. Life to the Full is an extension of his book, Down Not Out: Depression, Anxiety & The Difference Jesus Makes. Chris is convinced that God calls us to love him in heart, soul, mind and strength, and so the more we pursue wellbeing from every angle, the greater our opportunities are to find true flourishing in God.
