We’re very conscious this story isn’t the case for many of us. We sensitively share this from Pete Portal understanding that singleness is a deep source of pain for so many people who trust in Jesus. Most of our team are single - and yet, we want to believe and hear instances of God moving through our prayers and having our faith built that He cares about the details of our lives.

Pete Portal lives in a township in Cape Town, South Africa called Manenberg. Pete primarily spends his time with young men escaping gang culture and drug addiction. He is married to Sarah and they have 2 young children. Pete’s second book - How to be (Un)Successful comes highly recommended.
