Tyler shares how cancer taught him that weakness isn't something to hide, but a place where love can meet us. He realised that by trying not to be a burden, he was actually pushing away the people who wanted to carry some of the weight with him. And on a simple bike ride for ice cream with his children, he was reminded that “it’s impossible to love or be loved in a hurry.” Sometimes the freedom we’re looking for is found not in being stronger, but in allowing ourselves to be weak enough to receive love.
