What does it mean to actually hear from God? Something as ordinary as insecurity over a smile became the very thing God used to break through doubt and renew faith and joy. The story Tyler Staton shares of his friend Pete Hughes shows a God who is both mighty enough to create the world and personal enough to care about the smallest details of our lives.
Tyler Staton is the Lead Pastor of Bridgetown Church in Portland and the National Director of 24-7 Prayer USA. He’s the author of Praying Like Monks, Living Like Fools that explores prayer, doubt, and the everyday experience of God, and The Familiar Stranger, a book about the Holy Spirit. He lives with his wife and children in Portland.
