When John’s son was having treatment for leukaemia and struggling with side effects from the treatment, John would pray with him and see miracles happen in his own home. However, John didn’t have a personal faith in God and had a problem with the concept of miracles and it wasn’t until much later that he found himself pushing through crowds to the front of church.
John Parmiter had a distinguished career as a planning consultant and will complete his ordination training in the Church of England later this month. John and his wife Jackie have four grown up children and now live in Hackney, East London.
