Toby Thomas shares his own poignant journey - from having an absent father to discovering the joys fatherhood himself. Bringing insights from the story of the prodigal son (Luke 15: 11-32), he shares God’s nature as a father with us, even when we are let down or given a false sense of value as sons or daughters. There is a reconciling Father in heaven who wants to pour his love into all those who choose to love and follow Him.

Toby has had a fascinating career - from running his own creative agency in London by the age of 23 to becoming a Vicar in the Church of England. Today Toby leads Shoreditch Church within the Saint Church family. He is married to Theresa and together they have a young son. Toby is passionate about creativity within the Church, whilst facilitating a welcoming space for all types of people, particularly those who are often overlooked or misunderstood like he was at times in his own journey of faith.
