Toby introduces the concept of “compunctio” and explains how our hearts are searching for beauty. Sharing a story from N.T Wright about three young boys visiting a church, Toby shares that gazing upon Jesus - no matter how unworthy we might feel, transforms our hearts and satisfies our “holy longings”.

Toby Thomas went from from running his own creative agency by the age of 23 to becoming a Vicar in the Church of England. Today, Toby leads Shoreditch Church in London within the Saint Church family. He is married to Theresa and together they have a young son. Toby is passionate about contemplative rhythms and liturgy within the church that help us gaze & meditate on what God has done for us.
