Simon shares about what it means to rediscover our first love for Jesus. Sometimes our love for God hasn’t been deliberately rejected, it’s simply faded through familiarity, weariness or the busyness of life. But as Simon returned to the Gospels and asked the Holy Spirit to awaken his heart again, he found himself amazed by Jesus afresh. Because the Spirit still comes to breathe life into what has grown tired, and to ignite our love for Him again.

Simon Ponsonby is an author, theologian, and speaker based in Oxford, where he is the Director of Theology at St Aldates, Oxford. Simon has written several books on spiritual life and biblical theology, including Amazed by God, More, and Inside Out. Simon is married to Tiffany with two sons, Joel and Nat.
