Feeling so much shame that he couldn’t show up at church, Pete Davies describes the life-changing moment that God met him in during that season and left him stunned - highlighting what needed to change in his life. Pete contrasts two responses from Peter in the bible when he encounters Jesus during fishing trips (Luke 5:1-8 and John 21:4-9). Pete concludes by discussing how we sometimes elevate change in our lives over the pursuit of Jesus himself.
Pete Davies is a contemplative thinker and poet, who is passionate for us to experience the depths of God’s love, despite our brokenness. Pete lives in South West England with his wife Debs.
