Lisa shares her story of a life that started in pain and performance, and somehow years later a very reluctant yes to a women’s retreat became the place she finally met God. No fixing, no pressure, no tidy answers but just a love that didn’t flinch or walk away. A whole lifetime of distance met with one simple truth she’d never heard before: nothing had changed how deeply she was loved.
Lisa Sunshine Jennett is a Texas-based Christian author, landscaper of 25+ years, and a joyfully quirky storyteller with a big love for people and even bigger love for Jesus. She lives in Texas with her husband, Hank, affectionately known as “Tank” and together they’ve built a lively tribe of six kids and a whole crowd of grandkids she proudly calls her own natural wonders of the world. Her memoir, When I Last Saw Me reflects her heart and story of freedom from her past and how we can step into our true identity in Christ.
