In a moment of feeling tempted back into old habits and feeling too tired to pray, Temi began to question, did God really heal me from the things of the past? It’s hard to struggle with something that you’ve worn as a badge of honour. But in that moment God asked him, “How much do you think I won on the cross? How much do you think my sacrifice covered? Only when your things are good? Or is it in these moments?”
Temitópé Taiwo splits his time between pastoring at Saint Church and studying for ordination at St Mellitus College. He is also one of the youngest members serving on the General Synod of the Church of England.
