Tim Hughes shares his journey of embracing the idea of adopting, despite initial hesitation and concern. He recalls the pivotal moment when he decided to say yes to the unknowns and disruptions, ultimately finding immense joy and fulfilment in welcoming a newborn baby girl into their family. Tim encourages us to embrace God’s invitations to us, even when they appear daunting. There are a number of different approaches to fostering and adoption: Tim & Rachel fostered and then adopted their daughter through their local authority via the route of Early Permanence. EP adoption offers the child very early attachment and stability.

Tim is married to Rachel and together they have 5 children and lead Gas Street Church in central Birmingham. Tim is a prominent worship leader and has written many of the worship songs we sing today.
