Where is God in the midst of suffering?
Pete Hughes

Pete Highes speaks into a question that arises in every age: where is God in the midst of suffering? Acknowledging the reality that is often agony whilst enduring suffering, Pete refers to a quote from Brene Brown illustrating how she perceives God when it comes to pain and suffering. Pete goes on to unpack how central suffering is to our faith and emphasises the suffering of Jesus. Through God revealing his character in Exodus 34:6 and referencing Psalm 23, Pete explains how God is there with us in the midst of our suffering.

Pete Hughes, alongside his wife Bee, started KXC with a simple vision: to recklessly give themselves away to God, each other and the people of Kings Cross and beyond.
