The diverse family of God
Hakeem Bradley

Coming from a background growing up around the Five-Percent Nation, Hakeem Bradley had serious questions when he encountered Jesus from his own spiritual searching. Hakeem needed to investigate the roots of his new faith that had transformed so many lives. Was Christianity really just a tool of white supremacy, as he’d been taught? As he dug deeper, he discovered something radically different: far from being a weapon of oppression, Christianity was born in the Middle East and had taken root across every culture, ethnicity, and race. The global church, he found, wasn’t confined by color or culture—it was a diverse, boundary-breaking movement that transcends divisions and unites people in every corner of the world.

Hakeem Bradley is a gifted biblical scholar, researcher and teacher. His work has included being Associate Scholar at The Bible Project and a Ph. D. candidate in New Testament Studies. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and spending the latter half of his life in Portland, Oregon, he and his family now lives in Altlanta, GA.
