Running out of self-sufficiency
Pamela Schmaling

With her husband suffering from Parkinson’s disease and the symptoms taking him further and further from her, Pamela had mastered how to push through and get it done herself. But when she got to the end of herself, and found herself in a church, she fell on the discovery of a new rock that she could lean upon.

Pamela Schmaling life was going to plan for many years until her husband, Chris, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. She cared for him devotedly for over two decades whilst also starting a business to support their young family. Today, Pamela is an active grandmother and the proud mother of four children who are spread out across Western Canada.
